Mum and Dad's Immune System Booster Drink

My Mum and Dad invented this wonderful drink!
I always drink this as a night time drink as its sweet and yummy,
very soothing and sleepy-fying before bed.
All the goodies are intended to give your immune system a kick up the ass (pardon the pun)
and keep it working correctly for you.
You could just use the recipe if you feel ill,
but I drink it every night as a preventative. 

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon turmeric 
1 teaspoon honey
Half teaspoon cinnamon
Some grinds of black pepper
A squirt of lemon juice
A scraping of coconut oil 

Hot water

Directions:
Keep stirring!
The coconut helps the turmeric emulsify, but it does take time.

The black pepper is to help the turmeric enter your system.
Obviously it's best if you have fresh, organic, non waxed lemons.

Glad that you're using this recipe Amy and honoured that you have added it on here. We drink ours in the morning to start our day and we have recently added ground cloves to the mix. Adapt the recipe as you wish, to make it suitable for you. We began drinking this as we researched into immune boosting ingredients. Each ingredient has its own properties and goodness for your body.
