Local groups Plastic Free Glastonbury, Glastonbury Refill and Glastonbury Friends of the Earth worked together to create a water dragon and organise a parade down Glastonbury High Street, stopping at all the venues where one can fill a water bottle, discouraging people from buying new plastic bottles. Promoting the #Refill scheme, the dragon certainly got the attention of the locals, helped greatly by Glastonburys' Dragon Drummers...

I was lucky enough to spend two months here from March to May, whilst studying at Schumacher College, which is part of the estate, and to witness and feel the changing of the seasons... I stayed one night and made some videos, one about the camp, with an interview with camp president Eddie Thornton, and one about the community support of Kirby Misperton. On the 25th July 2017, Chalice Well gardens in Glastonbury held a Giving Love and Thanks to Water Ceremony. Myself and two friends dressed as water goddesses joined in the wonderful ceremony, and talked to people about the potential effects of fracking on our sacred water.
