Michelin Restaurants in Napa Valley, California
The French Laundry
The French Laundry pride itself on their varied Chef’s and Vegetable Tasting Menus, in which no single ingredient is ever repeated, giving a sensual surprise with every mouthful. The menu features oysters, caviar, duck foie gras, champignons, lobster and many other delicacies, finished off with an assortment of fruits, ice cream and chocolates. Built in 1890 as a French Steam Laundry, the atmosphere is rustic and country-garden vintage. Chef Thomas Keller established the restaurant as his dream destination for fine French cuisine.
The Restaurant at Meadowood
This modern American restaurant delivers bespoke menus, created by a culinary team headed by Chef Christopher Kostow. Every dish tailors to each guest’s individual tastes and preferences, and is artistically created with a woodland flair, using flowers, leaves and berries. The atmosphere is personal, creating deeper relationships with the guests, reflecting life on a country estate.
The Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil
Auberge has a rich ambiance of abstract paintings, exposed beams and warm wood furnishings. Outdoor tables here are sought after for the panoramic views of vineyards and sunsets. Executive Chef Robert Curry uses the natural diversity and rich ingredients of Napa Valley to create inspired cuisine with a Mediterranean flavour. The Tasting Manu includes Fois Gras Torchon, Prime Beef Pave, and Pistachio Financier to finish. Try one of 40 wines on offer from Wine Director Kris Margerum.
Bouchon Bistro
Part of the Thomas Keller group in Yountville, the Bouchon reflects French high-dining, with its vibrant mosaic floor, antique light fixtures, and hand-painted mural by French artist Paulin Paris. The French bistro fare showcases the best products available each day, including steak Frites, Poulet Roti and other French delights are part of the extensive lunch and dinner menu.
La Toque
La Toque proudly sources the freshest seasonal ingredients from local farms and purveyors. The unique flavors and textures of the dishes are a delight to savour. Chef Ken Frank’s Tasting and Vegetable Menus are progressively presented to the entire table. Tuna Belly, Florida Frog Legs, and Lemon Sorbet are some of the delights to be tasted. The wine cellar now has over 2,000 selections, and pairing food and wine is the passion of La Toque. The rich leather topped tables; fireplace and well trained staff create a cosy yet glamorous atmosphere.
Solbar at Solage Calistoga
Solbar has a casual and relaxed atmosphere, refined with excellent service. The vibe is woodsy-chic inside, with spacious terraces outside taking in stunning mountain views. Seasonal, sustainable menus reflect indulgence and wellness. Executive Chef Brandon Sharp makes flavorful and surprising dishes, with a twist on California soul food recipes. Broccoli salad, ranch quail, pan-roasted Mary’s chicken and slow roasted lamb shoulder are some of the top dishes to savor.
Terra Restaurant
Create your own menu of courses from Terra’s delicious menu, including Capellini pasta, grilled octopus, Maine lobster and grilled Liberty Farm duck breast. For sweet try Huckleberry Tart or Chocolate Mess. Set in an elegant fieldstone farmhouse, the countryside ambience is cosy and luxurious. Chefs Hiro Stone and Lissa Doumani believe that cooking is art, and mix flavors from Italy, France and the Orient.
