''The future is green energy, sustainability, renewable energy.''
                   - Arnold Schwarzenegger

one of the aims of my life is to
build my own house.

I don't know what shape this will take yet... earthship? Straw Bale house?
But I do know that it will use completely renewable energy.
There will be a huge veggie plot outside, and inside will be beautiful and homely.

I want to live a simple life, free of worry about the earth, money, or estate agents.
I want to reduce my imprint on the earth by taking only what is given naturally.
I want my future children to grow up with this as the ''normal'' way of living.

But again, as my journey is only just beginning, I have no idea about how to do all this!
So this page will be full of useful advice and snippets of wisdom
from those who have done it (or are doing it) already.

I aim to show that sustainable living is not difficult, and can be the norm.
I aim to inspire my readers to make small changes to their lives,
that do make a big difference.
I aim to have fun investigating all this!
